1. Overview

GFE.live respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects creators and fans to do the same. We respond to copyright notifications that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). Notices and counter-notices should be sent to our designated agent at dmca@gfe.live.

2. Filing a copyright notice

If you believe content on GFE.live infringes your copyright, send a notice containing all of the following:

  • your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for you;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL and, where relevant, the creator's handle);
  • your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices cannot be processed. On receipt of a complete notice we promptly remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who posted it.

3. Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located (or, if outside the United States, the courts of Singapore) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

On receipt of a complete counter-notice we forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant notifies us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the material, we may restore it.

4. Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, and we may remove content and suspend accounts on a first infringement where the violation is clear.

5. Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, seek legal advice before filing.
