Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This policy explains what GFE.live collects, why we collect it, where it is processed, and the choices you have. GFE.live is an adults-only platform; we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it and close the associated account.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data. Email address, username/handle, display name, and authentication state, managed by our own email-code sign-in service.
  • Age confirmation. Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, stored locally on your own device.
  • Creator verification data. Identity information and documents submitted by creators for age and identity verification, reviewed by a human as part of the application process.
  • Content you send. Private messages and photos exchanged with other users, and metadata about calls (participants and duration — needed for per-minute billing).
  • Payment data. Purchases are processed by third-party processors, including NowPayments for cryptocurrency payments. We receive transaction confirmations and identifiers, not your wallet keys or full payment credentials.
  • Technical data. Operational logs and error reports (via Sentry) needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. How we use information

  • operate the platform: messaging, media delivery, calls, and billing;
  • process token purchases and creator payouts;
  • verify creator identity and age, and review creator applications;
  • enforce our Terms and Content Policy, including human moderation of reported content;
  • send transactional email (receipts, account and security notices) via AWS SES;
  • debug, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the content of private messages for advertising.

4. Where your data is processed

We run the platform on a small set of infrastructure providers, each under contract:

  • Amazon Web Services (Singapore) — application hosting; Amazon SES for transactional email.
  • PlanetScale — Postgres database.
  • Cloudflare — edge network and web application firewall; R2 object storage for media. Media lives in private R2 buckets and is served only through short-lived presigned URLs.
  • Sentry — error tracking.
  • NowPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing.

5. Message privacy

Messages on GFE.live are private to their participants. They are not public, not indexed, and not visible to other users. Staff access message content only for moderation after a participant report, and only to the extent needed to investigate that report and enforce our policies.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use functional browser localStorage only — for your age confirmation, message drafts, and pinned conversations. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

7. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations — for example transaction and payout records, creator age-verification records (see our 2257 statement), and material connected to moderation reports.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data through your account settings or by writing to privacy@gfe.live. We respond within a reasonable period and verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. International transfers

The platform is operated from Singapore and your data is processed in Singapore and in the locations where the providers listed above operate. Transfers are safeguarded by our contracts with those providers.

10. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, a web application firewall, private media buckets with presigned URLs, and least-privilege staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its revision date.
